Yes - always. From the moment we speak, you'll know where you stand at every step: when we've submitted your CV, what the client said, and what happens next. And if the answer is no, we'll tell you that too, with the reasons behind it. Silence is the thing people hate most about recruitment, and so do we - so we've built our process around never leaving you guessing.

Who pays you, and does that ever shape the advice you give me?

Our clients pay our fees, not you - it's free for candidates. And no, it doesn't shape the advice we give you. If a role isn't right for you, we'll say so, even when it would've been an easy placement for us. A career move you come to regret helps no one - least of all us, because our whole reputation rests on people trusting us enough to come back.

Is my job search confidential?

Always. We never share your details or resume without your permission, and we represent your career with real discretion. That matters at every level, and even more so the more senior you are, where your reputation and your current position have to be protected.

Do I have to apply for a specific role to work with you?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. You're welcome to reach out directly, and plenty of the opportunities we work on are never advertised. By getting to know you properly, we can keep you in mind for the right role when it comes up - rather than trying to squeeze you into whatever happens to be live today.

What salaries do you recruit for, and how do I know what I'm worth?

We recruit across the full finance function, from transactional and support roles to senior leadership and the CFO office - so wherever you sit, we can give you a genuine read on your market. And we'll share market intelligence with you, based on what we actually see being paid, not a flattering number to get you excited or a low one to make a placement easier. We'll talk through the whole picture too - not just base salary, but bonus, benefits, flexibility and progression - so you can weigh up any move properly.

We stay in touch with the people we place long after the paperwork's signed - checking in, sharing market insight, and being there for the next chapter, through your probation and progression. The best recruitment relationships are measured in years, not placements. We have many business relationships spanning more that a decade, with both clients and candidates – and we remain in contact to this day.

Absolutely - and there's no pressure from us, either way. Some of the most valuable conversations we have are with people who aren't ready to move yet and simply want an honest read on the market or their options.
